About Nexus
Hello, and welcome to Nexus PhotoGraphics. Let me tell you a little bit about how this enterprise came into being, and what you can expect to find here.
Although I launched this endeavor in 2002, the Nexus story really began about ten years earlier, when I became the self-appointed custodian of my grandparents' treasured collection of old family photographs, some dating back to the 19th century. When I began my custodianship, I had three goals in mind: to preserve the photos for future generations; to share them with all of my relatives; and to stimulate my family's interest in our roots. In pursuit of these goals, I ended up spending, over a ten-year period, the proverbial "ten thousand hours” of learning and skill development needed to create what eventually became Nexus PhotoGraphics.
My goal now is quite simple: to provide elegant, superior quality products and services to individuals interested in preserving and sharing their family's history and photographic legacy. If you are engaged in these activities, you're serving as a bridge between the generations and performing a service for your family the importance of which cannot be overestimated. Finally, a few words about my methods. Everything that I do, from the scanning and restoration of individual photographs to the creation of Photo Family Trees and Family History Videos, is a custom work of art created in close consultation with the client, and using state-of-the-art equipment and the very highest quality materials.
